De Horsten
De Horsten is a cluster of beautiful estates between Voorschoten and Wassenaar. There is a great variety in landscape, from rural to forests and park landscapes. De Horsten consists of three main parts: Raaphorst, Eikenhorst en De Horst. All of them have a long history of castles, hunting grounds and farming. The castles have gone, allas, but there are some buildings that have survived. Recently, the 20 years old house Eikenhorst, became the residence of the Crown Prince and his wife.
